New for the Greater Bendigo Region!
The 2026 Bendigo Sustainability Awards
Announced soon.
“The commitment to a sustainable future in the greater Bendigo region by government, businesses, community groups, schools and individuals is inspiring and must be recognised.”
The Bendigo Sustainability Awards are new! To be launched at the Bendigo Sustainability Festival in March 2026. Details to come.
The awards were born from a growing, heartfelt commitment among the people of Bendigo to create real, lasting change — not just within their homes, businesses, and communities, but for the planet we all share. These awards recognise that sustainability is not a buzzword or a distant ideal, but a lived, local practice — driven by the quiet heroes of our region who are planting seeds for a better future today.
From inventive home solutions and school-led green initiatives to bold business transformations and grassroots community efforts, the Awards celebrate the power of collective local action. They reflect Bendigo’s belief that meaningful global change begins in our backyards, our classrooms, our workplaces — wherever people come together to care, create, and lead by example.
This is more than recognition; it's a reaffirmation of our shared values. The Bendigo Sustainability Awards stand as a symbol of pride and a call to action, showcasing a city determined to light the way — responsibly, regeneratively, and together.
